I wish I knew how to fake the date on this entry, so that I could make it look like I got right home and blogged like I planned to, rather than forgetting to do so and having to talk myself up over a month later...but, oh well...

HUGGY "ENTERTAINS" ON NATIONAL RADIO!"

"This afternoon" I cracked up a NATIONAL audience on the Hugh Hewitt radio program. Hugh was talking about "tonight's" Dan Rather interview of Saddam Hussein, and he was asking callers to submit possible questions Dan was going to ask Saddam.

I got on through my cell, and made it to the air, and said, "I'm sure Dan will ask something along the lines of, 'Isn't this whole inspection process kind of like a too-long ride home from the beach in a sandy swimsuit?" (in reference to some of the homespun Texas colloquialisms that Dan spouted the night of the 2000 election) Hugh cracked up!
