Hmm...was he crazy like a fox?

Please refer back to my June 27, 2006 post, and consider this with me...Was Sharon, as I speculated, addled in his dieing brain when he gave away the Gaza? OR, did he forsee the events of the last 2-3 weeks?

Just prior to "Israel's offensive into Lebanon" (as the media like to put it) Israel was having to re-bomb the Gaza in response to missiles coming from there into Israel. Which begs the question: Perhaps did Sharon know that would be the outcome? (He sure should have!) Did he just give the land over to the "palestinians" so that he could later re-claim it with justification that even "the world" would be able to see?

In short, perhaps was the "Sharon giveaway" just the beginning of a strategy that he didn't live long enough to see through to its logical end?
