A Tale of Two Car Chases:
Story 1: Around a year ago, an L.A. area individual robbed a gas station and led the police in a car chase which ended with the criminal backing his car into the police cruisers, resulting in the police shooting him to death.
Story 2: A couple of nights ago, an L.A. area individual stole a car and led the police in a car chase which ended with the criminal backing his car into the police cruisers, resulting in the police shooting him to death.
Outcome 1: The Chief of Police looked into changing the policy on officers shooting moving vehicles. The consideration of that policy change lasted over a year. Outcome 2: The Mayor ordered the Chief of Police to investigate changing the policy on officers shooting moving vehicles. The policy will change in two more days.
Additional information, story 1: The criminal was a white man from Malibu. No white activists spoke in the criminal's defense. The city of Malibu slept soundly.
Additional information, story 2: The criminal was a black boy from south-central L.A. "The black community" stormed the city council and accused the police of "an organized policy of extermination of blacks" and threatened widespread violence and even the killing of cops. L.A. spent a tense week of threatened riots.
Observation, story 1: For the most part, the white community (and rational members of community members of all other races) expect justice to be served. "If you act like an animal, you deserve to die like an animal. "
Observation, story 2: For the most part, the black community (and irrational worshippers of victimhood status of all other races) look for any reason to proclaim their victimhood and to threaten to destroy the rational community in their animalistic rage. The political structure, being equally irrational, and sold out to the squeakiest wheel, bows down to such irrational rage...
And we wonder how terrorists are born...
